Nicholas Cresswell Views the Revolution from Loudoun

Raise a glass with Nicholas Cresswell! Join us at Catoctin Creek Distilling and learn about the life, travels, and observations of Cresswell, an English visitor to Loudoun and America as the Revolutionary War broke out. Virginia Piedmont Heritage Area educator Travis Shaw will bring Cresswell to life through his 18 th century diary, and public historians Rich and Tracy Gillespie will set the stage and walk us through the experiences Cresswell had while visiting Loudoun.
