Two More Medals from American Distilling Institute
Portland, OR – Catoctin Creek was awarded two more medals in the 2011 American Distilling Institute Whiskey Competition in Portland, Oregon.
Mosby's Spirit received another bronze medal and was named "Best In Category" for un-aged rye whiskey. Roundstone Rye picked up a silver medal at the competition and was also named "Best In Category" for aged rye whiskey.
Mosby's Spirit and Roundstone Rye are both certified eco-ganic and kosher, and made from 100% eco-ganic rye. Scott Harris, owner of Catoctin Creek remarked, "We're very happy again for more kudos for our whiskey. This is the fifth award for Mosby's Spirit in just over a year of producing it, and the third for Roundstone Rye. And though the awards are nice, we're really glad that people are enjoying our spirits and this revival of interest in rye whiskey--Virginia's true historical spirit."
