Catoctin Creek in London!
Last week, we were very pleased to take part in Governor Terry McAuliffe's trade mission to London in the UK last week. The highlight of the week was being part of the governor's celebration at the Shakespeare Globe Theatre on the Thames, where the governor and Virginia Tourism saluted the makers of the Jamestown series on Sky1, and extolled all the virtues of Virginia agriculture. Not least of which were some fine drams of Catoctin Creek being passed around to all the guests. Also present were our Virginia friends at Hardywood, Reservoir, and Belle Isle.
Scott spent the rest of the week in London meeting with various bars, restaurants, retailers and distributors. Here's hoping we land some UK distribution soon!
Shown below are several photos during the visit, including a couple of the retailers: Amathus and Milroy's, a delicious sazerac prepared at Swift's of Soho, and our bottle positioned on the windowsill at the Shakespeare Globe Theatre with St. Paul's Cathedral in the distance.
