On Friday, December 13th, we will release a special one time release called "Finch and Hawk" Malt Whisky. This American Malt Whisky is the first release of malted barley that was grown in Loudoun County (along the Potomac River, north of Leesburg). It was then malted, mashed, fermented, distilled and aged entirely in Virginia! A true terroir whisky, this one captures the flavor of the mountains and the river. Aged first in charred new oak, the whisky was then transferred to red wine casks from Fabbioli Cellars for a couple more years of aging, and then moved again into casks that contained Adroit Theory stout. The resulting whisky is exceptional! Bold notes of fruit, earth, wine, and a clear note of surprising cedar! Delicious through and through!
As with all of our releases, this one is releasing ONLINE through our online store. The product will appear at 8:00am sharp, where you'll be able to order it for pickup or delivery in Virginia.
